Fraud attempt on Ramsey Rd.; $18,000 transfer flagged, no loss

On July 3, 2026 at 12:02 PM, a resident in the 400 block of Ramsey Rd., Yardley, reported unknown persons claiming to be from their bank who requested creation of a temporary account and transfer of $18,000. The complainant's bank flagged the transaction and there was no monetary loss, Lower Makefield Township Police Department reports.
