Free E-bike Safety Class and Helmet Giveaway — Nov. 14, 2026
Two-hour, free safety session for riders 16 and older; attendees receive a free NTA 8776/MIPS-rated e-bike helmet. Pre-registration is required.
Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Swatara Township Police Department will host a free two-hour e-bike education session for current and future riders ages 16 and older on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Swatara Township Municipal Building, 599 Eisenhower Boulevard, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Participants who complete the session will receive a free e-bike-rated helmet that meets the NTA 8776 standard with MIPS; the program is funded by a grant from the American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division.
