Freeze warning for Central Pa. Saturday — temps could drop to 28°F

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning Friday for parts of Central Pennsylvania, calling for sub-freezing temperatures early Saturday and another widespread frost and freeze Saturday night.

A freeze warning was released by the National Weather Service on Friday at 12:56 p.m. valid for Saturday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Northern Clinton and Northern Centre as well as Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Cambria, Somerset and Tioga counties.

"Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees expected," says the weather service. "Another widespread frost and freeze event is expected Saturday night as temperatures will again fall into the upper 20s and low 30s."
