Freeze warning for parts of Pennsylvania Monday; lows near 29°F

The National Weather Service issued an early-Monday freeze warning for several ridges and counties in western and central Pennsylvania, with sub-freezing temperatures expected.

On Sunday at 12:29 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning valid for Monday between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana as well as Mercer, Venango, Forest, Lawrence, Butler, Clarion, Jefferson, Beaver, Armstrong and Indiana counties.

The weather service informs, "Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 degrees expected."
