Freeze warning in effect for parts of Central Pa. until Monday morning
Freeze warning issued early Monday for several Central Pennsylvania counties; protect tender plants.
On Monday at 1:14 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning in effect until 9 a.m. for Southern Centre, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Cambria, Blair, Somerset and Bedford counties.
According to the weather service, "Take steps now to protect tender plants and vegetation from the cold. Unprotected early season plantings may freeze."
