Freeze watch for North Central Pennsylvania on Tuesday
National Weather Service warns of freezing temperatures overnight Monday into Tuesday; farmers and gardeners urged to protect tender plants.
The National Weather Service issued a freeze watch at 12:33 p.m. on Saturday valid for Tuesday between midnight and 11 a.m. for Northern Clinton and Northern Centre as well as Warren, McKean, Elk, Cameron and Clearfield counties.
The weather service states, "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Take protective measures now as freezing temperatures could damage or kill tender plants and vegetation."
