On June 30, 2026 at about 2:21 p.m., Bensalem Township Department of Public Safety responded to a CSX freight train derailment on the tracks between Street Road and Neshaminy Falls Station. Thirteen cars near the rear of the approximately 72-car train derailed and overturned; three displayed hazardous-material placards but Bucks County HazMat confirmed no leaks and no injuries. The scene has been turned over to CSX for investigation and cleanup, SEPTA service will resume after track inspections, and Bristol Road remains closed while residents are asked to avoid the area.
