On August 28, 2026, at approximately 11:11 p.m., Lower Saucon Township officers stopped a vehicle on Route 378 after it was observed traveling 62 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. The operator, 43-year-old Gerald Anthony Miller, failed field coordination exercises, was taken to the Northampton County DUI Center, and charged in District Court 03-2-04 with one count of driving under the influence of a controlled substance (M) and one count of maximum speed limits (S); BAC .13%.
