Gettysburg Police Share Halloween Safety Reminders
Officers urge pedestrians and drivers to take simple precautions for a safe Halloween night.
The Gettysburg Borough Police Department reminded residents to prioritize safety on Halloween, advising trick-or-treaters to wear reflective clothing or carry flashlights and to stay on sidewalks and use crosswalks. Parents are encouraged to walk with younger children and check their candy, while drivers should slow down and watch for pedestrians. The department said officers will be out and about keeping the night safe.
