Grand Junction woman arrested after deputies find suspected meth
Deputies found more than 30 grams of suspected meth during a pedestrian stop; the 59-year-old woman was booked on felony and petty drug charges and held on a $2,000 cash-only bond.
On Aug. 26, 2026 at about 10:20 a.m., Mesa County deputies made pedestrian contact in the 3100 block of Bunting Ave and recognized 59-year-old Dandi Matson as having an active felony warrant. Officers located more than 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine in her possession; she was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court charges and is being held on a $2,000 cash-only bond.
