Spring Township Police investigated a Dec. 23, 2025 incident at Weis Markets where a man scanned $6.48 worth of items but did not pay for two cases of Monster energy drinks ($55.98) and a case of Red Bull ($24.99). On June 9, 2026 authorities arrested 61-year-old Gregory Allen Becker and charged him with felony retail theft (18-3929 A1) and receiving stolen property (18-3925 A). Becker is described as a 61-year-old white male, 5'10", 155 lbs, with blue eyes.
