Grocery prices flat in July 2026; food-at-home up 2.7% year over year

Grocery prices for the month of July remained flat compared to June, but prices remain higher year-over-year, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The agency found that from July 2025 to July 2026, the overall cost of food at home (groceries) is up 2.7%.
