Gusty showers, strong winds expected in Northeast Pa. Friday evening
National Weather Service warns of gusty showers and strong winds moving east ahead of a cold front.
A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Friday at 4:19 p.m. for gusty showers until 7 p.m. for Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties.
"A line of showers over west-central New York will continue to move east this evening ahead of an approaching cold front. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph have been observed along the leading edge of showers. These gusty showers are expected to continue producing strong winds as they move east over the next few hours across Central NY and the Twin Tiers of NY and PA. Dead and weak trees may fall leading to road obstacles and isolated power outages," adds the weather service.
