Habitual Domestic Violence Offender Arrested in Grand Junction

Mesa County deputies arrested a 35-year-old man with prior domestic violence convictions after a civil call led to new felony charges.

At around 9:30 p.m. on August 27, 2026, Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a civil issue on the 3000 block of B ½ Road in Grand Junction and developed domestic violence-related charges against Donovan Logan. Logan, 35, previously convicted as a domestic violence habitual offender in 2014 with stalking convictions in 2021 and 2023, was arrested without incident and booked on felony stalking (second offense within seven years, Felony 4) and habitual domestic violence offender after three prior convictions (Felony 5); he is being held on a parole violation with no bond at the Mesa County Detention Facility.
