Police reported multiple crashes requiring towing, two arrests, criminal mischief and several disturbances across Hanover on July 29, 2026.
Hanover Borough Police on July 29 reported criminal mischief after damage to an exterior electrical outlet in the 300 block of Carlisle Street. Multiple crashes required towing: a 2006 Chevrolet Express struck utility poles and a borough street sign on Broadway; a 2015 Toyota RAV4 driven by Patricia Savage struck a 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by Alan Shepherd at Randolph Street and W. Clearview Road; and a 2009 Honda Fit driven by Linda Bratkowski struck a 2018 Ford F‑350 driven by Tyler Ryon on Broadway, with minor injuries reported in the last. Officers arrested Anthony Noriega, 47, of McSherrystown on outstanding warrants and Brian Baughman, 45, of Hanover on charges of public drunkenness, harassment and criminal trespass; other calls included juvenile disturbances, suspicious persons, a criminal trespass at Eisenhower Drive and a report of a BB‑gun wound on Highland Avenue.
