Hanover Borough Police released their daily activity log for July 13, 2026, detailing a burglary investigation, several crashes, disturbances and citations.
Police reported a burglary in the 400 block of E. Middle Street that remains under investigation. Officers cited 46-year-old Jacob Widmayer of Hanover for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, and a pending disorderly conduct charge was noted against a 45-year-old Hanover woman after a separate Baltimore Street incident. The log also lists three crashes — a non-injury collision in the 200 block of York Street involving a 2019 Ford Fiesta (driver Reyna Valina Ortiz) and a 2019 Ford F150 (driver Mark Sauers), a utility-pole strike at High and Poplar involving a 2014 Dodge Ram (driver Jeffrey Zartman) that required towing, and a minor-injury, tow-required crash at Broadway and Wilson where a 2021 Honda Insight (driver Eric Watson of Cookeville, TN) struck a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado (driver Brent Curry of East Berlin).
