Hanover police daily log — July 14–15, 2026

Hanover Borough Police reported multiple incidents on July 14 and early July 15, 2026, including a theft of tools in the 400 block of S. Franklin Street, a burglary with vandalism in the 400 block of E. Middle Street, and fraud involving unauthorized use of personal identifying information in the 200 block of W. Elm Avenue. Traffic crashes included a no-injury collision at High Street and W. Chestnut Street involving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra operated by Jeffrey Litzinger of Westminster, MD, and a 2026 Nissan Rogue operated by Madison Zier of Hanover, and a minor-injury crash in the 400 block of Carlisle Street involving Brenda Brennan (2005 Honda Pilot), Dylan Downin (2027 Chrysler Pacifica) and Laurie Owens (2020 Ford Explorer); other reports included harassment, criminal mischief (interior damage and spray-painted exterior damage), criminal trespass, disturbances and a domestic argument on July 15.
