Hatboro woman charged with aggravated assault on police after repeatedly kicking officer
Police say Emily Abbruzzi, 23, kicked an officer multiple times while being taken into custody after a reported domestic disturbance at the Woodwinds Condo Complex in Hatboro.
On Oct. 4, 2026, Hatboro officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at Hatters Court in the Woodwinds Condo Complex; initial reports of a large fight proved unfounded. Police say 23-year-old Emily Abbruzzi was found in violation of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness statutes, and kicked the same officer three times while being secured and placed in a patrol vehicle. Abbruzzi was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on police (F2), simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct; she was arraigned Oct. 5, 2026, with bail set at $1,000 and a preliminary hearing pending (case 2026-07864).
