Hillsboro Chief Chris Parsons Named New Hampshire Law Enforcement Torch Run Director
Hillsboro Police Chief Chris Parsons will lead the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Hampshire following the retirement of longtime director Brian Levesque.
Chris Parsons, chief of the Hillsboro Police Department since 2022, was appointed by the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police on October 18, 2026, as the state’s Law Enforcement Torch Run Director for Special Olympics New Hampshire, succeeding retired director Brian Levesque. Parsons brings more than 15 years of involvement with Special Olympics New Hampshire — including roles as a Law Enforcement Dipper and Mega Dipper, leading the Hillsboro-to-Concord Torch Run leg, volunteering at events, and presenting awards — and will lead law enforcement’s continued support of SONH athletes.
