‘His life mattered’: Hershey doctor killed in Carlisle plane crash remembered by colleagues
Paul Sokoloski, 57, a Hershey resident and veteran Penn State Health emergency physician, died when his Cessna collided with a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter during a training exercise at Carlisle Regional Airport.
Paul Sokoloski, 57, was known by those around him as a skilled emergency room doctor, a passionate pilot and, most notably, a good man.
Sokoloski, a Hershey resident who worked as a doctor in the Penn State Health system for more than 25 years, died Wednesday after his Cessna plane collided with a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter performing a training exercise at Carlisle Regional Airport.
