Hyundai recalls 47,749 Kona crossovers over seatbelt defect
Certain 2025 Kona Electric and 2026 Kona models are being recalled after regulators found a seatbelt may not work correctly in a crash.
Korean automaker Hyundai is recalling 47,749 of its Kona crossover SUVs due to a seatbelt issue. Documents posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration say the recall impacts certain 2025 Kona Electric and 2026 Kona SUVs.
