From the early hours of July 3 through July 4, 2026, Mechanicsburg Borough officers handled multiple intoxicated-subject calls, including a belligerent male taken to the hospital. A two-vehicle rear-end crash led to a DUI arrest; other reports included a missing person, identity/access-device fraud, found property, juveniles out after park hours and numerous traffic stops and extra patrols. Storms on July 4 produced many downed trees and wires, prompting repeated assists to fire crews and notifications to PP&L and resulting in cleared roadways and service referrals.
