Infiniti Melvin arrested on aggravated DWI with child passenger and multiple charges
32-year-old Poughkeepsie woman was arrested Sept. 22 on aggravated DWI and multiple related charges while transporting a child.
Infiniti Melvin, 32, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026 in Poughkeepsie and charged with aggravated DWI for having a child passenger under 16, driving while intoxicated (first offense), and a rear-seat passenger age 4–7 with no or an inappropriate restraint system. Additional charges include drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway, moving from lane unsafely, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and related DUI counts; the matter is with the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office.
