Isla Meyer was sworn in as a police officer during the East Lampeter Township Board meeting on June 30, 2026. She will begin the mandatory 24-week Pennsylvania municipal police academy on July 6, 2026. The East Lampeter Township Police Department said it is excited to have her join the department.
