Jasill Malik Williams charged after officers find loaded gun, drug paraphernalia in Clay Township

On July 8, 2026, at about 8:49 p.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police responded to 70 Clay School Road in Clay Township (Ephrata), PA, for a report of suspicious activity and found a parked vehicle with a man asleep inside. Officers identified him as 32-year-old Jasill Malik Williams of Reading, conducted a pat-down and located a loaded firearm he was not permitted to carry along with drug paraphernalia. Williams was charged with Firearms Carried Without a License (18-6106(A1), F3) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (35-780-113(A32), M); the charges are before MDJ Landis.
