Jason Cory Ogburn Arrested in Circle K Armed Robbery
North Charleston detectives arrested a 48-year-old after a midday armed robbery at a Circle K; investigators recovered evidence and a replica firearm at a nearby motel.
Detectives with the North Charleston Police Department arrested 48-year-old Jason Cory Ogburn after a July 24 armed robbery of the Circle K on Ashley Phosphate Road. Officers say Ogburn brandished a firearm at about 12:14 p.m., demanded cash, fled, was identified and located at a nearby motel where a search warrant recovered evidence including a replica firearm; he was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Al Canon Detention Center on charges of Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
