Jayden Munoz arrested after series of New Cumberland vehicle thefts
New Cumberland Borough police say a 22-year-old was arrested July 25 in connection with 15–20 vehicle entries and thefts from the early-morning hours of June 25; a Glock 43X 9mm taken from an unlocked vehicle remains missing.
New Cumberland Borough Police arrested 22-year-old Jayden Munoz at 12:59 a.m. on July 25, 2026, on the 300 block of Fifth Street in connection with a series of vehicle thefts and related offenses that occurred the early morning of June 25. Investigators identified approximately 15–20 vehicle entries and attempted entries between 2:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.; wallets, identification, cash, backpacks and other personal property were stolen and a Glock 43X 9mm handgun taken from an unlocked vehicle has not been recovered. Munoz faces multiple charges including five counts of theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking (F2), receiving stolen property, firearms offenses and loitering; all charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
