Jayden Munoz arrested in New Cumberland vehicle-theft investigation
22-year-old arrested after police tied him to 15–20 early-morning vehicle entries on June 25; a stolen Glock 43X 9mm remains missing.
The New Cumberland Borough Police Department arrested 22-year-old Jayden Munoz at 00:59 on July 25, 2026, in the 300 block of Fifth Street in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles that occurred during the early morning hours of June 25. Investigators identified approximately 15–20 vehicle entries and attempted entries between 2:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.; stolen items included wallets, identification, cash, backpacks and other personal property, and a Glock 43X 9mm taken from an unlocked vehicle remains outstanding. Munoz faces multiple charges including counts of theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking (F2), receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night (10 counts), and firearms-related charges; all charges are allegations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
