Jeannette K-9 treated after pit bull attack during drug probe

Jeannette officers were assisting the FBI at an Adam Street home to locate a person wanted on federal drug charges when someone inside placed a pit bull in the backyard. The dog jumped a 4-foot chain-link fence and charged K-9 Diesel, who was securing the perimeter with Sergeant Phillips; both dogs were separated and Diesel was taken to an emergency vet for evaluation and treatment of minor neck injuries.
