Jeray Amari Anderson arrested in Highspire on evading, marijuana possession and traffic charges
Highspire police say Anderson fled a traffic stop on March 7, leaving his Lexus running; suspected marijuana was found during an inventory search. He was arrested Sept. 23 with assistance from Harrisburg police.
Highspire Borough Police arrested 28-year-old Jeray Amari Anderson of the 2200 block of Logan Street, Harrisburg, on Sept. 23, 2026, on charges of evading, possession of marijuana and related traffic offenses. Officers say they stopped a Lexus ES for a registration violation on March 7 in the 100 block of Second Street; Anderson exited the vehicle during the roadside investigation and fled on foot, leaving the car running and abandoned. A tow was requested and an inventory search located suspected marijuana outside the vehicle; a warrant was issued March 11, 2026 (MJ-12203-CR-0000103-2026).
