On August 29, 2026, at approximately 1510 hours, Quarryville Borough Police responded to a report of an erratic driver near Marlton Lane and North Summit Avenue; the caller described a red Dodge Durango operated by a male wearing a backward hat. Officers located the vehicle parked blocking a driveway near the 100 block of Northview Lane and observed signs of impairment — odor of alcohol, bloodshot and glassy eyes, and disheveled clothing; Martinez refused Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement testing, and a Preliminary Breath Test, and a partially consumed beer can was found in plain view. He was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and is awaiting arraignment before District Magistrate Mankin; all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
