On June 3, 2026, Spring Township Police were dispatched to Dick's Sporting Goods to investigate a retail theft that occurred May 30, 2026. After the investigation, 35-year-old John Mundy Jr. was charged with Retail Theft (18-3929 A1) and Receiving Stolen Property (18-3925 A), both M1 offenses. The total loss to the store was reported as $190.75; the case was handled by the Spring Township Police Department at 2767 Paper Mill Road, Wyomissing.
