Jonathan L. Sumpman charged after crash in East Donegal Township

On Sept. 4, 2026 at about 12:00 p.m., Susquehanna Regional Police responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Gibble Road and Union School Road in East Donegal Township. Officers determined 36-year-old Jonathan L. Sumpman was under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and charged him with multiple offenses (case numbers 753802C, 753742A, 753323A). The charges stemmed from the investigation into the crash.
