On Sept. 29, 2026, Forks Township officers investigated a fraud report at ACR Products in Easton after the company delivered two industrial power washers to J&J Restoration and received personal checks for $8,608.33 and $11,659.12. The checks were deposited but later removed when the account holder initiated stop payments; certified mail to business owner Jose A. Juarbe was unsuccessful. Forks Township CID determined Juarbe had a history of passing bad checks, prompting an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of bad checks (M1) and two counts of theft by deception (F3) in case MJ-03209-CR-0000163-2026; he is currently lodged in a state prison.
