Jose Ignacio Cortes Brienceno arrested on three DUI counts in East Petersburg
Northern Lancaster County officers stopped a vehicle in East Petersburg after detecting the odor of marijuana; a blood test showed THC, and three DUI charges were filed.
On May 24, 2026, at about 10:38 a.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police stopped a vehicle at Main Street and Tank Road in East Petersburg and reported smelling marijuana. The driver, Jose Ignacio Cortes Brienceno, 62, of Elizabeth, NJ, was investigated for DUI and a blood sample indicated THC; three DUI charges were filed before MDJ Chudzik (case 86-26-04044). Charges include DUI impaired driving, DUI — Schedule I controlled substance, and DUI — metabolite/non-prescribed substance.
