Judd Bednar, 56, arrested in Nazareth after admitting to slapping and choking partner
Nazareth police responded to a domestic disturbance July 5; a woman had visible hand injuries and the man admitted to slapping and choking her.
On July 5, 2026 at 8:17 PM Nazareth police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of North New Street and found a woman with visible hand injuries; an ambulance was called. Officers located 56-year-old Judd Bednar, who cooperated after stepping outside the home and admitted to slapping and choking the female; he was charged with second-degree strangulation, simple assault (M2) and harassment (summary), processed at Nazareth PD and taken to Northampton County Prison. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
