On November 1, 2026 at 12:06 a.m., El Paso police stopped a Black 2025 Nissan Kicks on I-39 near milepost 14 after it was observed traveling southbound at 110 mph in a 70 mph zone. The driver, identified as Keshawn D. Kingcade (report lists age 24 and also identifies the driver as a 20-year-old male), was cooperative, taken into custody on an active DuPage County warrant, cited for speeding, and transported to the Woodford County Sheriff's Office for processing.
