Koby M. Zimmerman Charged With DUI, Drug Paraphernalia After Moped Crashes into Mailbox

On July 11, 2026 at about 12:08 a.m., Lititz Borough police responded to Peach Drive after someone reported a doorbell prank. Officers say Koby M. Zimmerman, 18, told them he had driven a moped to the house with a friend as a passenger; the passenger accidentally pulled the throttle and the moped struck a mailbox. Police say Zimmerman showed signs of impairment, field sobriety tests showed validated clues, two THC vapes were found in his pocket, and a breath test registered 0.052% BAC; he was summonsed to District Court for preliminary arraignment and hearing and is presumed innocent.
