Lafayette Students Shine at LV ASCE Awards Dinner

Grace Gazza ’26 earned the Outstanding Senior Civil Engineering Student Award and Eli Byrnes ’26 served as student speaker at the Lehigh Valley ASCE awards dinner held in Pfenning Alumni Center.

The annual Lehigh Valley section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (LV ASCE) awards dinner was recently held recently in Pfenning Alumni Center, organized by Kristen Sanford, professor of civil and environmental engineering, who serves on the board of LV ASCE as student chapter liaison. Grace Gazza ’26 received the Outstanding Senior Civil Engineering Student Award in recognition of her outstanding academic work and leadership of the student ASCE chapter. Eli Byrnes ’26 was chosen as the student speaker from Lafayette in recognition of his honors thesis research. The students were chosen by Lafayette faculty and recommended to the section.
