Lancaster man arrested after standoff on East Walnut Street, two guns recovered

Police and Lancaster County SERT arrested a 35-year-old after threats were reported at a home on the 900 block of East Walnut Street; two firearms were recovered.

Shortly after midnight on July 13, 2026, Lancaster City Police responded to reports that an occupant of a home on the 900 block of East Walnut Street was making threats toward another person and their children. After two residents exited safely and repeated contact attempts failed, Lancaster County SERT, assisted by Lancaster Township Police, obtained a search warrant, entered the home, and took 35-year-old Tyler Fry into custody; officers recovered two firearms. Fry was charged with three counts of terroristic threats (M1) and one count of resisting arrest or other law enforcement (M2); he is in custody and presumed innocent until proven guilty.
