Lancaster man arrested on PWID charges after Poplar Street search
Police obtained a search warrant after a July 16 domestic disturbance and seized large quantities of THC vape cartridges, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms; suspect was arrested July 20.
On July 16, 2026, Lancaster City Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Poplar Street and found the suspect allegedly in possession of firearms and illegal substances. A search warrant produced a large quantity of THC vape cartridges, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms; 19-year-old Yadiel Sandoval-Ramos was charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver (THC, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody without incident on July 20, 2026 at 8:22 p.m.; charges were filed by Officer Ben Detwiler. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
