Lancaster man charged in $1,686 Weis Markets thefts

On July 22, 2026, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police investigated a retail theft at the Weis Markets on 75 Doe Run Road in Penn Township. Officers identified 37-year-old Javier Anota-Xolio of Lancaster as the person who repeatedly under‑ringed and removed items since February 2026, totaling $1,686.44; two counts of retail theft (18-3929A1 and 18-3929(A4)) were filed and the charges are before MDJ Stauffer.
