On June 19, 2026, at about 6:12 p.m., Lancaster Township police responded to a hit-and-run at Columbia Boulevard and Abbeyville Road after the victim followed the suspected vehicle to a residence. Officers say the driver, identified as Frank Rocky Morone, offered the victim cash, showed signs of impairment, and was taken into custody; a chemical test recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.164%. Morone faces misdemeanor counts of Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property, Driving Under the Influence – Highest Rate of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence – General Impairment, and several summary traffic violations; all charges will be heard in Lancaster County DUI Central Court. All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
