LBPD joins statewide aggressive-driving enforcement wave
Lititz Borough Police will join a statewide targeted enforcement wave July 6–Aug. 16, 2026, aimed at reducing aggressive-driving crashes; officers will ticket drivers who display aggressive behaviors.
The Lititz Borough Police Department will join the Pennsylvania State Police and about 300 municipal agencies in a targeted aggressive-driving enforcement wave from July 6 through August 16, 2026, focusing on heavy truck violations, pedestrian safety, red light running, speeding and tailgating. Any aggressive driver stopped will be ticketed; the initiative is part of PennDOT’s Highway Safety Program funded in part by NHTSA federal funds. In 2025 there were 6,812 aggressive driving crashes resulting in 119 fatalities and 437 suspected serious injuries.
