Lehigh Valley International posts busiest summer ever with 320,058 passengers

Over 320,000 passengers fly through ABE from June – August

(Hanover Township, PA) – Records are made to be broken.

Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) produced its busiest summer travel season in history with 320,058 passengers from June – August (surpassing the 2025 record total of 299,799).

“The combination of additional flights and larger aircraft brought more available seats to the region. More importantly, our community used the additional seats and chose to Fly Local and Fly ABE. Thank you to our ABE staff and airline partners for delivering the highest level of service,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA). 

Last month, 103,565 passengers used ABE – a 6.57% increase from the previous August.

By the numbers, Delta Air Lines jumped 18.7%, American Airlines was up 15.3%, and Allegiant increased 7.1%. Meanwhile, United Airlines dipped 16.5% compared to last August.
