On July 1, 2026, Boy Scout Troop 142 (St. James Catholic Church), Mayor John George, Chief Jared Hahn, representatives from the Young Men's Business League, borough staff and parents gathered in Lititz Borough for a flag replacement ceremony. A new American flag, presented June 30 by former Mayor Tim Snyder and Nelson Peters on behalf of the Young Men's Business League to honor America's 250th and Lititz's 270th anniversaries, was raised while the retiring flag was ceremoniously folded and handed to Snyder for delivery to American Legion Garden Spot Post 56 for proper retirement.
