Lititz man arrested after inhaling aerosol canisters, assaults officer in custody

Caleb R. Richardson, 31, of Lititz was arrested July 10, 2026 after officers found him initially unconscious beside two Duster compressed‑gas dust remover cans. Richardson admitted inhaling the aerosol, later struck his head against a holding‑cell window causing bleeding, and intentionally kicked or kneed an officer in the chest while being restrained. He was treated at a local hospital, taken to Lancaster County Central Booking for arraignment and has been summoned for a preliminary hearing in District Court.
