Lock Your Vehicles

Newtown Borough Police Department warns of a recent increase in thefts from and of motor vehicles in Bucks County and urges residents and visitors to lock vehicles, take keys and remove valuables. Recommended precautions include parking in well-lit, visible locations, never leaving a vehicle running unattended, and reporting suspicious activity to local law enforcement. The Pennsylvania Auto Theft Prevention Authority reports nearly half of stolen vehicles in the state were left unlocked.
