Loganton Woman Pleads Guilty to Forging Doctors' Notes
A Loganton woman admitted forging medical notes multiple times to excuse a habitually truant child, court records show.
Dawn Herlocher, 48, of Loganton pleaded guilty to four counts of Forgery (M1) in Clinton County Court after Pennsylvania State Police charged her with forging doctors' notes from a Centre County medical provider on 17 occasions and providing them to Kystone Central School District to excuse a habitually truant minor in her care. Judge Craig P. Miller ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for October 6, 2026; Pennsylvania sentencing guidelines call for probation of 24 to 96 months.
