Lt. Michael Stacy marks 10 years with DeLand Police
DeLand Police honored Lt. Michael Stacy for a decade of service and his leadership of community outreach efforts.
At Monday night's City Commission meeting, the DeLand Police Department recognized Lt. Michael Stacy for reaching 10 years of service after joining the department in 2016. Stacy has worked in Patrol, Motors, Traffic Homicide Investigations and as a Field Training Officer, earning promotions to corporal in 2021, sergeant in 2022 and lieutenant in 2023. He currently leads the department’s Community Engagement and Community Outreach Division and is committed to building strong partnerships between law enforcement and the community.
